Georgetown Day 1

The Elizabeth Pearl is in Elizabeth Harbor, Georgetown! We made the 5 hour trek by way of the Exuma Sound, which is the wide open Atlantic Ocean...next island out there was San Salvador.  Waves were 4 to 5 feet but the wind was northwest so we rode pretty good!
This Harbour is a big one.  We actually see cars going up and down the island. And......we have TV again....5 stations! We get CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, (I think) and a local channel.    No DVD's for us tonight! By the way a big THANKS to those who loaned us all the DVD's...we have definitely been going through them!

Heading into Elizabeth Harbour

Monument Hill- just inside the Harbour
We meant another Defever 44, Oh, My!. They have been here for 2 weeks and are leaving for the states tomorrow morning.  They were here for the Regatta. ..Guess that's a really big thing here. It was the last weekend of April.
We are sitting back drinking frozen margaritas and eating conch salad tonight. Tomorrow is town day...Phil needs flip flops. The 3 pair he brought with him have all broken. We also forgot our "look see bucket". We heard the marine store here carries them.
This is a real nice place. ..we are anchored in front of a beautiful beach. Mom would of loved this. She has been on my mind all day today. Think I might switch to a CC and water at sunset...and of course a stogie!
All is good!
